Very easy to locate. You can take a Bolt ride directly to the hospital. Alternatively, take a cab to Phase 3 junction and then a keke or bike to the hospital in Phase 4.

There are two accommodation options – one inside the hospital and another a few minutes away. The onsite option consists of three 3-bedroom flats. Each flat has a living room and kitchen shared by three occupants.
One room has its own bathroom, while the remaining two share a bathroom (but those rooms are larger).
Each room has a wardrobe, bed, mattress, pillow, table, and chair. Some rooms have AC; the living room has AC.
Kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas cooker, and plate rack.
Caution fee: None.
Power supply: Generally fair. Power is available from about 8am – 2/3pm, then 7/8pm – 5/6am.
Room assignment: First come, first served. You’re assigned a roommate/flatmate.
No entrance exams after application.
To be called early, follow up regularly. Connections may help but are not compulsory.
Monthly salary: ₦281,000 (recently increased to ₦310,000 for a month, not confirmed to be permanent yet).
Payment date: Month-end or first week of the new month.
Other benefits: Monthly call tickets usable at the two hospital restaurants (rotational basis).
Located in Phase 4. There are lounges, supermarkets, and it’s easy to get rides to anywhere in Abuja.

Orientation is informal – you learn from existing HOs on your unit. Ask questions when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Active participation in ward rounds (especially Internal Medicine; Surgery is relatively relaxed).
• Set IV lines, though nurses sometimes assist, especially in A&E.
• Complete post-rounds and enter notes into the system.
Staff Relationship:
Generally friendly and supportive doctors and nurses, though varies by unit.
Key tip: Be visible, responsive, and proactive.
